Talking klogin


hi,
could anyone tell me about /etc/xinetd.d/klogin?there is an item in the file :disable=yes;
what is this item exactly mean?

That the service is disabled at boot ?

so what is the service xinetd exactly do?if it is disabled what its effect on boot?

/etc/xinetd.d/
contains scripts to start services at boot
you can disable or enable them, so the service will not be started at root.
in your case
klogin is disabled
