Keyboard Prob on Slackware 10!! Help!
 

Hey guys, I have had slackware 10 installed for about a week, its great only prob im getting is with the keyboard map, i have the keyboard map set on uk, witch is how i want it but for some reason if i hit the @ key without shift it gives me nothing but if i hit it twice i get ´ but i should get ' and the same for when i press shift and 2 i get nothing at first press but if i hit it tiwce i get ¨ so im really confused on whats happened can anyone help?

before checking keyboard mappings and software configurations, does it do this with any keyboard you connect to the PC?

Yep, i just tryed my very very old compaq keyboard aswell :S, im currently using a microsoft multimedia keyboard.

Anyone?
