kernet panic:no init found


i had Windows 98 , xp and RH Linux7.3 .. something went wrong with my both windows and i reinstalled them .
i have installed linux on the last partition
i boot linux from floppy.After installing the windows again when i try to boot linux it shows the error message

Kernet painc:No init found. Try possing init=option to Kernel

what have happened here and can it be fixed

That sometimes happens when booting from a floppy, cann't you install GRUB to handle all those Operating Systems? <Just a question>

i haven't installed Grub but if u guide me i can install it

OK where should be the mbr installed .
First option or second option

And if boot from floppy can be fixed then mention it also

Cann't you re-install linux and use the "use grub to load linux" or whatever option.
