kernel related query


hi guys this is my first query to my group that righ now i m using kernel
2.4.18-3 for redhat linux 7.3 and my kernel instantly stops supporting
vfat and fat32 . so if u have any solution regarding it please i m waiting for ur positive response.

odd... if that's the stock kernel then it should still be compiled as a module. try "modprobe vfat" to load the module and mount again. if that works, add vfat to /etc/modules.conf to load on boot.

and you posted this in the wrong forum, the LUG forum is for linux user groups, social gatherings etc... this post should be moved to a suitable location shortly
