kernel recompile


i have been trying recompilig the kernel but facing some problem
after i make the kernel , vmlinuz... image is created in that folder,where do i need to copy it to run the new kernel,what changes do i have to make in my bootloader,i have grub.
please help

Go to www.tldp.org and check out the
Kernel-HOWTO ...

The most common place for vmlinuz is
/boot, though!
