Kernel panic can't mount root partition
I have a machine with 2 OS-es:
Windows /dev/sdb1 Linux /dev/sdb2 In LILO it was written in this fashion and worked fine. But then I replugged the disks and now they are: Windows /dev/sda1 Linux /dev/sda2 I changed the data in fstab, but still it panics. To my surprise, Windows loads correctly. Is it possible to make Linux load correctly without replugging the disks? |
Have you also changed /etc/lilo.conf and re-run Lilo?
