Kernel panic!!


Hello!I was install Open Suse 11. in my virtual machine.At first time everything was good.When I was install the 3D desktop after I can't boot the system and write this:Kernel panic-not syncing:VFS:Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(8,9)!
What's the problem??
Can somebody help me??PLZ
Sorry for my english,not so good,but maybe understand it.

... this usually happens when the kernel has been altered. Perhaps you are missing the initial ramdisk? But it can also happen if your fstab is incorrect.
