Hi,
how big is too big, and are you using zimage or bzImage or are you talking about an uncompressed kernel file? Cheers, Tink |
You're looking in the wrong directory for the specific kernel file. I don't know the exact details since it's been months since I built a kernel from scratch, but try looking in the build directory somewhere. There is a file with the same name there only that it is smaller.
That is the file that you want. And use bzImage instead of zImage. Cheers. |
well i do use bzImage. i'm told that the kernel is too big after that. it says that system is 1029K, setup 2529K
