Unhappy kernel init in knoppix


Hello all;

I start up from cd and I get a kernel panic...

attemting to kill init.

I have tried several images... none of them work.

Any ideas?

suggestions for knoppix problems

I got this problem when my CDROM was broken. make sure your burning is working right, and also maek sure that your CDROM is reading properly. when it fails to read properly, my init always failed. New drive, no problem.
