Kernel image for syslinux bootable floppy???


Trying to make a bootbale floppy for my slackware 9.1 using syslinux.

This is the stuff in my /boot:

System.map boot.0302 config-ide-2.4.22 vmlinuz-ide-2.4.22
System.map-ide-2.4.22 boot_message.txt map
boot.0300 config vmlinuz

I used vmlinuz as my image, not sure if this is right though???!!! Does not seem to work at boot time and it says "cannot find kernel 'linux'" (or something to that effect)

syslinux defaults to looking for a kernel named linux. You can put a file called SYSLINUX.CFG on the boot floppy and tell syslinux what the name of the kernel is. Here is a description of SYSLINUX.CFG:
