Kernel-2.4.19


Kernel-2.4.19 is out, those of you with VIA KT266 mobo's should upgrade for full southbridge support. There are also lots of USB updates and USB2 support as well.

I am a newbie to installing and configuring a new kernel. I am running Suse 8.0 (kernel 2.4.18 at present).

Anybody know of where I can find a step by step guide. I keep having problems
