Kde print won't remember print settings
 

Hi - having an annoying but not fatal problem with printing under KDE. I've configured an HP Laserjet 4-MV printer for direct tcp-port printing, and set it up with the right settings; I can do lp <document> and the document comes out without error.

However, when using the print button from a KDE application, the system seems to forget my settings and uses erroneous defaults (why on earth is A4 the default paper size, anyway? :confused:). Every time I want to print, I have to click 'properties' and change A4 to Letter in two places before printing. "Save Preferences" doesn't, and I'm wondering what config file has to be edited to fix this glitch.
