Kde 3.1


In KDE 3.1 i need themes. My bro has one where his whole K menu is all changed and everthing, it has a neat clock. I dont know what it is called. Where would i look on www.kde-look.org?

He wont tell me, and ill get a screeny if possible.

There are diffrent sections on KDE-look. Browse around in there, u should be able to find something you like.

for changing the menu's icons, you have to install new icon set. go to kde-look.org and download some nice ikon sets like crystal, korilla, noia etc. unzip the downloaded file, and copy the unzipped directory to /yourhomedirectory/.kde/share/icons. this is the place where you put all new icon sets. now run Control Center, and go to Apprearence>Icons.

to change the window decoration, you have to go to Control Center>Appearence>Window Decoration

to change the overall look (like push buttons, slider, etc) you need to go to Control Center>Appearence>Style

so, there are three types of decorative items: icons, window decoration, and style.
