Unhappy itcl - status?

hi veryone. i just wanted to know if ANYONE knows what actually happend to "itcl". the download link to sourceforge is broken and i'm not able to get the latest version in source. only rpm. no discussion about rpm here, i just don't like package managers. i'd like that damn sources, for i want to built smm++ (tcl/tk, itcl -based mud client). my guess is, that i have lost track of the tcl/tk development and it wether has been closed or itcl merged somehow with another package. plz help!
