ISP server Filtering spam mail

Hello,
can any one help on how i can detect or filter spam mails passing through my Linux ISP squid proxy server.
Note that its not a mail server at all, it only internet gateway.
I will appreciate your response.
Thank

Squid doesn't deal with SMTP, you will need to filter at the mailserver.

Spamassassin or any Baysian filter should suffice.

Baysian is the mathematical model used in spamassassin and several others. I know spamassassin is readily available. Google or check the installation disk. It may be on it.
