Is tmpfs in RAM first?

Hi! Is tmpfs located in RAM first and when RAM is full it goes to swap? Because I can't see how it fills up RAM in conky.

syg00 is correct.

tmpfs was specifically designed to be swappable - versus ramfs which @jefro may be thinking of. It is created in kernel buffers (i.e. in RAM) and defaults to a maximum size of half your RAM.
Have a read of tmpfs.
