Is this legal?

I was browsing around graphic designers when I stumbled upon this page. It's evidentally a portfolio of a graphics company named "NaroWebDesign, but when I scroll down the page I see the logo (and name!) of the GNU Gnome Desktop environment.

Funny part is, in the opening blurb on the page:
Quote:
"Before you hire us to create your new logo design, we suggest you take a look at the creativity and originality of our work, as displayed on these pages. You'll notice that each logo design sample has its own distinct "personality"
Um? What's going on, here? And should I report this?

After a little back and forth with google, my personal opinion (IANAL) is.... No. It's
violating their trademark (which in itself I find weird that you can trademark a footprint)
but regardless they do use the EXACT same footprint. I thought at first maybe they do
the logo(s) for Gnome but google doesn't seem to think so.

To be honest I had written out an entire block of "information" that I had thought of to
defend the company, but the more I thought about it the more I felt that it was in fact pretty
sad to outright take the EXACT logo(Not to mention the use of the word Gnome with it. Does Gnome have copywrite over the name "Gnome"?) and then sell it for $149.00

Seems shady to me.

Should you report them?
Sure. It could be that we don't have all the facts and all it takes is you emailing one of
the devs and get their impression of it.

That's my opinion of the matter.
