Is there a way to convert jpegs to a DVD format?

Because I have a DVD player and view Jpegs on it but they are blurry and take forever to load/view. I am wondering if there is a way to convert them to a DVD format or something that is faster at viewing and cleaner on my DVD player and I also have lots of vacation pics I want to put on a DVD. Thanks.
