ok ive got a compaq desktop currently has suse 10.0 and winxp home installed on the 120gb hdd is it safe to install a secondary linux on as well, or should suse be removed,I have 2 windows partitions and 2 swap and 2 linux partitons set up suse takes one of the linux partitions,i added the other one this morning to see how suse would react so far its behaving, does anyone have any experince with useing winxp along with 2 linux systems... i'm wanting to add either fc4 if it will install or mandriva... any comments are greatly apprecitated... thanks liz

It should be perfectly possible to tri-boot with 2 linuxes and Windows. Just be very careful to keep your partitions straight, especially since different kernels (occasionally) detect hardware in different orders.
