Is it Linux or Linux?


Is the `I` in Linux pronunced Linux or is it pronounced Linux

Is it Linux as in

Line
Lime
Dine
Wine

or is it Linux as in

bin
win

I'm not sure, but I think it would be more of a:
'seat' pronounciation.

I have always pronounced it as Lee-nux but don't know whether thats right (most people I know pronounce it that way).

In English, you can pronounce it both ways:
-) like 'wine'
-) like 'win'

I pronounce it "Line"ux, but it's creator, Mr. Torvalds, pronounces it "Lee"nux

But hey, it's all spelt the same

we already have plenty of these.. how do you pronounce linux? in the forums.. closing this thread, we don't need another one.
