antivir ESET Smart Security on W$ XP blocked that web page
with the information that the page contains "viruses" and "other
malicious applications". I'm interesting in your opinion.
First of all I'd suggest you take any of these cautions into consideration. AV is not 100% and can't get all or guess all correctly.
I'd boot to a live cd of linux and see what is going on there. I'd send a question to the AV software to ask what is up.
Many web sites get hacked so that could be the cause. Many web sites may have admin's that use domain for other uses and the AV company crawled in and found it. Many times these software companies have reporting where an attack on one system triggers a network wide report to other users. Some instances could happen where dns is being spoofed and the AV is ahead of the game.
This question arose cause here on the forums there are links pointing to that web page. Maybe I will ask the manufacturer...
Or I leave the things as they are now....
