I¦am¦looking¦at¦developing¦on¦Linux,¦and¦using¦Python,¦and¦I¦need¦to¦know¦if¦there¦is¦an¦open¦souce¦ PDF¦Reader,¦perferably¦written¦in¦Python,¦but¦does¦not¦have¦to¦be,¦which¦I¦can¦insert¦and¦alter¦and¦ build¦upon¦within¦my¦application,¦which¦has¦a¦license¦that¦DOES¦NOT¦REQUIRE¦the¦source¦code¦be¦given ¦out¦upon¦distribution¦of¦my¦finished¦application¦to¦the¦public.¦

I'm afraid that the vast majority of open source Linux software you'll find is covered by the GNU General Public License, which DOES require source to be distributed, and most of the non-GNU software isn't open source.

Though I could be wrong...
