irq routing conflict

When my machine is booting up, I see the message that goes something like this:
have irq 10, want irq 11

The boot messages scroll by so fast that I have a hard time reading them, and I don't know if there is a file that contains them to look at later...Anyway...

What does this mean? Is it a problem? If so, what causes it? And how is it fixed?

Any help is appreciated!

You can check what IRQ's are being used in /proc/interrupts.

That's probably an IRQ conflict, the solution will depend of what card's are causing the trouble.

dmesg|grep irq
grep irq /var/log/messages - some repeats of dmesg
