ipaq went dead

hi

I tried to flash the rom of my ipaq 3970 back to wince from familiar 0.72. but the ipaq went dead after that.

It was a bad flash because the flash went like this

boot> load root
partition root is a jffs2 partition:
expecting .jffs2 or wince_image.gz.
After receiving file, will automatically uncompress .gz images
loading flash region root
using ymodem
ready for YMODEM transfer...

Looks like a gzipped image, let's verify it...

After flashing, the ipaq does not boot to anything at all. It only response to a HARD RESET. The ipaq doesnt charge the battery too. Now the battery went dead and its impossible to get it into HARD RESET now because the moment i plug out the power to put it into cradle, it just went off. I need to put it on the cradle to flash the ROM again.

How do i get it to work again?

Anyone out there that knows how to solve my problem please help me on this.

Thanks very much for all help rendered.

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
