Internet Connectivity Issue

I have inherited a mixed mode (Linux and Windows) network.I have a Linux Web Server running Apache web server. In the last few couple of weeks the server hangs and give I/O errors...as soon as the web server hangs the office internet connection goes down as well...no one can access or go to the web until I reboot the machine by pressing the on/off button because I cannot access the console to reboot properly.

The Web Server is on a DMZ...here is the current network setup...

Main Router connects to a Netgear Hub. Netgear Hub connects to the Linux Firewall (Running Astaro v3.216) and Mail Server. Second interface connects the Linux Firewall to the Main Cisco Switch for the network...Third Interface connects to another Netgear Hub (DMZ). The second Netgear Hub connects to another Cisco Switch...The Web Server is finally connects to this Cisco Switch...

When I reboot the Web Server, there's an error message that I see on the screen. Bin/Date;Bin/Uname and Bin/Cat write error no space left on device.

My question is...why will my internet connection goes down when the web server goes down...what does the error message mean..do I need to delete some stuff?

I am very new in Linux and I have not seen a network setup this way before...

Any help will be appreciated..

Thanks...SD

Arg.... strange could it be coz ur firewall gets busy forwarding requests to ur webserver without a response... (If its DNATed).. The error message u have given suggests ur running out of diskspace..
Will u post df -H output ?
