intermitent gdrive error ONLY when run as cron job


Hi all,

I use gdrive + cron to automate backups from a server to a google drive account.
https://github.com/prasmussen/gdrive

When running drive manually from the command line it works fine every time.

When running gdrive as part of a shell script executed by cron I get frequent failures to upload.

The error
Code:
Failed to upload file: googleapi: Error 403: Rate Limit Exceeded, rateLimitExceeded

Does anyone know how I introduce a slight delay in the cron job to level out the API workload ? I have
