I want a different login screen for my KDE Plasma / Debian Buster machine. I'm not entirely certain what I want, other than something interesting (but still functional).
In the past I've used LightDM's "Crowd" greeter, which was a 3D avatar walking around the screen - a fun idea, but more gimmicky than functional.
Does anyone know of a better website for browsing login themes/greeters? Preferably one that emphasizes unusual ones over reskins, but at the very least using more than 7% of the screen for the images!
Alternatively, if anyone has a custom/unusual login screen that they think is worth sharing, please go ahead...
Just like to point out, prepending the word Linux to your thread title as a web-search gives "About 61,900,000 results (0.49 seconds)?"
Definitely not the best search example nor the fact that:

Debian has access to online repositories that contain over 51,000 packages. Debian officially contains only free software, but non-free software can be downloaded and installed from the Debian repositories.
some of which can create any possibility your looking for?
Thanks Gaz. Part of me likes the idea of a minimal screen, but at the same time I also like the idea of having something that makes people go "ooh, what's that...?"
I've been considering creating a background image that's a 3D render of Tux+Gnu+Konqi having a picnic and/or climbing over where the login form would be, but I've not found any models of them that don't suck, so I'll probably have to shelf that idea until I can spend the time modelling them myself.

You'd be surprised how many times I've had that reaction to something as simple as mine. But, each to his own. No worries, go scratch your itch! One of the nice things about free software is we get to do all manner of crazy things to it.
