Intel Pentium 233MHz with MMX and 48MB RAM

I have old laptop (Intel Pentium 233MHz with MMX and 48MB RAM(it was upgraded from 32MB)

It has Windows 98. I want install Linux. What version of Linux I can install on this laptop?

Almost any version will install. Just don't use heavy resource applications like KDE or Gnome and stick to lighter weight ones.

I install Mandrake 8.2, and even internet works !!!

How I can update Mandrake 8.2? What is method Mandrake uses?
