Post Installtion of Red hat Linux 9.0


Dear friends

Can any on etell me detailed of how to install red hat linux 9.0 and i'm using windows xp for the moment but as i have started learning linux but want to know faster

so if any one can help me out in installing red hat linux 9.0

Here's the link through to the Red Hat 9.0 installation guide: http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/l...install-guide/ . Although there's quite a lot there, read over the getting started section and installation section. It's not that hard, and should happily allow you to dual-boot between Red Hat 9.0 and Windows XP.

If you have any problems, get back in touch, but most of the stuff to get you going is in their online documentation :-)

I found red hat really easy to install, alot easier than some of the other distros out there.

Fedora core is even easier too. Are you using an older system that fedora core might not run on?

Just noticed your in Durham,UK. Me too.

Redhat 9 and below are obsolete and outdated. Support and updatse have been discontinued by Redhat, so get a newer distro like Fedora (Fedora replaced the old Redhat linux).
