Installing SUSE linux on a Compaq Presario

Hi, I am trying to install SUSE Linux 9.1 on a Compaq Presario SR1103WM. I get the installation screen up and select install and an about three seconds it reboots. Help, I tried to put in a hard drive with it already insalled but when I get to the Grub Stage 2 it reboots!

Upgrade your BIOS
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/s...tem=pv-22922-1

Disable PNP and APIC, if present in the BIOS after update. Try again.

PS- Also install Suse 9.2 or 9.3 if you can.
