Well with that attitude you will never learn Linux.
Take my advice, download opera and don’t go to sleep till you have it installed.
I promise you once you have it installed you will be so proud of yourself, you will not be able to sleep.
All you’ll want to do is to learn more about Linux.

There is also a crack for opera (check http://www.cracks.am) witch will remove the banners.
And remember we are here to guide and help you.

I have been sitting here behind my PC for over 4 hours now, nonstop trying to figure stuff out, and I will probably sit here the rest of the night (it’s now 12:44 in the morning SA time).
You see Linux IS addictive.

I really hate to bring this up, but I think that all of us would take you (VDUB) a little more seriously if you'd take the time to check the grammar and spelling of your posts. You claim to be a "Windows tech" with lots of powerful equipment and software, yet your grammar is worse than my 4th grade daughter, and it appears you haven't got a spell checker. Messages such as these always raise the possibility that you are simply pulling our chains and are not exactly what you claim to be.
This is not meant to be a flame, merely a suggestion. How one presents oneself has a lot to do with how one is treated.
BTW - how M$ packages its products for Linux is not the fault of Linux. To install Star Office, one simply uses a command line similar to the old pkunzip and the installation could be mistaken for InstallShield.
