Installing linux question?


I plan to install suse 9.1 on my windows me pc. But My question is. While I install linux will it let me replace windows me? thanks

And by the way are there any programs for linux to download mp3 songs or any format type?

When you install linux, it will display the layout of your disks. Just format the entire disk and install it over the same partition as your windows OS.

Itunes iirc runs on linux platform. allows you to Download songs for a cheap price. If you're asking for software programs that download them illegally, you're asking in the wrong place.

yup I mean yeah a program similar to that Kazaa thing. And thanks for answering my doubts about linix. I will be running either suse or mandrake in a week

Limewire is almost identical to Kazaa, except no ads. You have to have java installed though, but I'm pretty sure that comes with SUSE.

If it doesn't come with Java, then you can just grab it from java.sun.com.
