Seems to me the path is not set correctly
Do you have root access ?
If not, ask IT to install it for you, with all the dependecies.

Thumbs down Installing IE

First I created one directory called IE/
Then I entered into that directory using cd IE/

>>wget ttp://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/downloads/ies4linux-latest.tar.gz
>> tar -zxvf ies4linux-latest.tar.gz
>> cd ies4linux-*
>> tar zxvfcd cabextract-1.2
>> cd cabextract-1.2
>> configure --prefix=/home/thangappan/IE/
>> make
>> make install
>> cabextract ../ies4linux-2.99.0.1/ies4linux

../ies4linux-2.99.0.1/ies4linux: no valid cabinets found
All done, errors in processing 1 file(s)

This is what I am getting..........

./cabextract: Permission denied
The file is not executable, do
Code:
chmod +x cabextract
or it has the wrong user permission.
