>>> Previously i have tried your steps but it showed the error as cabextract command should be there.Again I tried to install the cabextract command then I set the path. While running this I got the same error as cabextact command is not there.
First I created one directory called IE/
Then I entered into that directory using cd IE/
>>wget ttp://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/downloads/ies4linux-latest.tar.gz
>> tar -zxvf ies4linux-latest.tar.gz
>> cd ies4linux-*
>> tar zxvfcd cabextract-1.2
>> cd cabextract-1.2
>> configure --prefix=/home/thangappan/IE/
>> make
>> make install
>> cabextract ../ies4linux-2.99.0.1/ies4linux
../ies4linux-2.99.0.1/ies4linux: no valid cabinets found
All done, errors in processing 1 file(s)
I have wrongly executed the command. Then I copied the cabextract command in the ie path and execute the following steps.
>>./ies4linux --no-gui
