installing ebuild


i couldnt download bind-tools with emerge, (it just

waiting for lock on /usr/portage/distfiles/.locks/bind-9.3.2.tar.gz.portage_lockfile
and there it stops) so i downloaded bind-tools-9.3.2.ebuild from gentoo-portage.com, How do i install the pakage?

Copy it to /usr/portage/distfiles
(or wherever you have your "distfiles" - which is the directory holding all the source-files)
Then run emerge again.
