Installing driver during installation with linux DD

Hi guys..

I need to install a driver for redhat during installation for a SAS card..

I found the rpm, I read some instructions but it says you have to copy the .DD file to the USB key...

but how can I get the .dd file from the rpm or can I use the rpm itself?

I am a little confused with all this. everywhere says I have to create an image..an image from the rpm, or what? how..
