I'm such a newbie that this is my first post! I just installed Debian 3.0 on my laptop and and now trying to configure Linux to recognise my USB powered Zip 250 drive. Is there anyone out there who can help me set it up. I'd need pretty detailed instructions as this is all new to me.
Basic instructions can be found here,
info on the linux usb mass storage driver can be found here. The required modules will already be included in any recent distro with kernel-2.4.x so you should not need to download or install anything extra to get it working.
why does it all have to be USB...damn it. USB is perverted.
Get the external Zip drive which connects to the Scsi card that comes with the correct zip drive and you wont be asking these questions, nor installing drivers!!
