Question Installing a video driver


I downloaded NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-4191.i386.rpm and I don't know how to install it. can somone give me some feedback? i get some package not found kernel thing

rpm -ivh NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-4191.i386.rpm

Make sure you install the NVIDIA_kernel package, too.

i got the files NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-4191.i386.rpm and NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-4191.src.rpm do i install the .src.rpm the same way as the .i386.rpm?

You don't need the src.rpm.

Don't forget the to read the README files from NVIDIA's site. It explains how to install their drivers.
