can we install redhat linux from rpm ???? if we already have linux os up and running .
i think we can but how i dont know because after all >> all redhat files and softwares are in the form of rpm.


any Idea abt this is welcomed

I don't quite get your question rajesh. But, are you trying to upgrade your system or go in for a complete new install.

Anyways, you won't find any rpm package for a complete RH distribution.

i want to start from a scratch. apart from cd,http,ftp,hd installation ; is their any other way to install linux. >>

Like I said in my previous post, you won't find any distributions rpm. That's not provided for, it can not be done.

Apart from what you mention, you can do a network install.
