Install RPM w/ options

I'm trying to install an PHP, an RPM package, but I need to install it with MSSQL support. The option is "--with-mssql=/path/to/freetds", but how do I do this with an RPM? I dont want to compile a package from source, because it will break dependencies since I'm using SUSE. Any ideas?

Those options, like the one you mentioned, are passed to the configure script in the compilation process of a source code, before the compilation step (make). RPM is a binary package, unless you choose to install a source one (.src), and binary packages don't take any options because the options are compiled in. That's why you give the options, when compiling, before the actual compilation step and not afterwards. So if you want to change that option, you will need to recompile it from source. I'm not too familiar with source RPM packages (.src.rpm), but you can easily find out more using Google.
