Install MSOFFICE 2003 on CrossOver "Legal ?"


Hi..
I have successfully install MS Office 2003 on my Kubuntu box..using CrossOver...I have licenses for both MS Office and CrossOver...but I have heard that it is illegal to install MS Office 2003 on any non-windows os..is this true ?

Well, there isn't anything in the EULA that would suggest this. Besides, if it were true, I suspect Microsoft would have sued CodeWeavers out of existence years ago.

I can't speak for other countries, but in France, it must be legal, because there "forced bundled selling" is forbidden, ie: you can't force someone to buy something just because they bought another thing.
