Install linux


I have three partitions on my hard drive (C: D: E. Partition C: is for Windows. After downloading linux into D: drive, How do I install linux in partion D:

If you downloaded an ISO image, then you need to burn the image to a cd by using a program such as nero burning rom. Then you can boot to the cd and install linux.

i suppose you downloaded an iso file?

burn it to cd, and boot the cd...

search the forums, there's lots of info on this
