inscript troubles


ok so i start my inscript with the standard

echo "#\!/bin/csh" > inscript
then i go
echo "date" >inscript

then i do more incript and all thats in there is date! what am i doing wrong?

os: slackware 8.0

Use >> to append.
echo " ">inscript
echo "date">>insctipt
