strider82 LQ Newbie Registered: Apr 2009 Location: USA Distribution: Debian, Ubuntu Posts: 7 Rep:	inode cache? I am making changes to the inode extended attributes in ext2 and I am able to do it successfully. However, all the changes disappear after sometime. This begs the question: is the inode data structure replicated? or are there multiple writers and hence need locks and synchronization? Thanks,
