Industry standard performance metrics for Linux
I need information for industry standard/recommended performance metrics for Linux (specifically, RHEL 4). Especially around memory utilization and measurement in a predominantly Java environment.
Any and all recommended performance targets would be appreciated. In other words, CPU util should not exceed 80% for more than an hour, swap in/swap out should not exceed X pages/sec for more than 30 minutes, page in/page out should not exceed X pages/sec for mmore than 30 minutes, etc. The numbers posted above are examples, I'm looking for some exact parameters. |
