In which file does redhat-config-xfree86 stores its settings

hi there,

I need the file which stores all the information regarding the display properties, for different distributions.

for instance, in Redhat 9.0,
where does the application redhat-config-xfree86 stores its values, such as,

Monitor Type (Model),
DPI information,
Video card type,
Driver,
Resolution,
Color Depth,
Horizontal and Vertical refresh rates etc...

thanks 'n regards,
joe.

The file should be called XF86Config-4 or if it doesn't exist, XF86Config and usually resides in /etc/X11 or sometimes /usr/X11R6/etc/X11.

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
