I used Mozilla for some time and than switched to Galeon.

Now, I'm trying to make Firebird work. I have some problems to import bookmarks from Galeon to Firebird. What I did step by step is given below:

#1 Click on Manage Bookmarks
#2 Choose directory to Import
#4 Click on "Import" button
#5 Choose "bookmarks.xbel.2"

Nothing happen, I really don't understand why ?

I don;t think Mozilla can read the Galeon bookmark format. Try saving to the Mozilla format from within the Galeon bookmark manager then import the exported file.
