ifconfig, ipconfig ....
Linux and Windows has two commands that have similar functionality. Linux calls it "ifconfig" and Windows "ipconfig"? Why not call both command ipconfig (IP has some meaning) but IF doesn't.
It seems just a principle for me that everything should differ(Linux vs. Windows or Windows vs. Linux) .... Maybe I wrong.... |

ifconfig does much more than set an ip address, therefore it's called ifconfig.
