Are you sure you can't use another browser? There are things that you can do to make other browsers identify themselves as IE. Anyway, if you still want to run IE under Linux, then maybe you can get it to work with Wine.

Simple installer for MSIE 5.0/5.5/6.0. I found it via a recommendation on the Wine site, and it worked pretty well for me, so I'm happy to pass it on.

Just download the file, extract it to a folder, run the installer program, and pick which version of MSIE you want, and it'll do the rest for you.

(Note -- you'll need a reasonably recent version of Wine to make MSIE do anything)
