icewm help

Hey guys!..I'm using Debian Linux in my computer labs..and i really don't like the themes that they gave..so i decided to install my own one..i tried to ..i created an ~/.icewm/theme directory..and i loaded it up..the problem is that it only loads the taskbar and the window style to be like the theme i downloaded..the menus and the background are still the one that was originally set by the admin..do you guys know how i can overwrite it for my specific account only?..well obviously i don't have access to root so i can't change anything to root..there are also no icons or stuff..and i can't customize anything by right clicking..how do i go about creating icons and adding widgets to the desktop?...it's been a great pleasure learning about Linux..

Sounds like you went though the right process to me...Keep in mind, though, not not all themes come with extras like backgrounds, so it's possible that the theme you've selected just isn't very complete. Do you get this problem with a variety of themes?

well i get it with all the themes...and in the screenshots they did have a background and stuff..i'm thinking that the admin's overall background is overriding my theme..so only the taskbar reflects the new theme..
