Hi all Can anyone tell me how you can set up icewm to auto start programs on login [like yahoo messnger, firebird, evolution, gtk-gnutella and gkrellm]?

i do not suppose anyone has got ready made icewm config files for
a Polish language desktop?

I should also risk asking about any other window managers (configured
to be Polish), as I liked ctwm in my University days. (Anything beats 4Dwm
on beta silicon graphics Indigos)

You can just add them to ~/.xinitrc with ampersands if you use startx. Not sure how to do it with a session manager.

One way that works for either is to create ~/.icewm/startup file - needs to be an executable shell script, I believe.



Don't know anything about Polish ices, sorry.

Just to let you all know in case you check Debian the IceWMCP is a bitch as well...

I'm scrapping it and going to try the IceCC mentioned earlier.
